My Guitars
I use several Fender Strats loaded with DiMarzio Pickups of various configurations and ages with the help of these great people: Derek Brooks with Ernie Ball Strings, Sheldon Lavineway and Rusty Bickford with Trem-King tremolos, string saver saddles, string trees and string nuts all by Graph Tech Guitar Labs, thanks to Tarina Dunwoodie and their great staff. My 1956 Fender Stratocaster with DiMarzio pickups, 1951 Fender NoCaster guitar, 1969 Fender Stratocaster and an early series SRV Stratocaster.
My Amps
I use a custom-built Mesa/Boogie “Lawman” Lonestar, 100 watts and a Mesa/Boogie custom-built Electra-Dyne, 100 watts, two custom-designed 4- and 12-inch speakers in custom-built cabinets. Both amps are built to Dan’s specifications. Thank you, Tim McKee, at Mesa Engineering.
My Rack Gear
My delay, reverb, EQ, et cetera, all come out of my ART DR-X 2100 multi-effects unit, Sennheiser multi-channel guitar wireless. Thanks to Greg Beebe and Greg Pizzi at SennheiserUSA.
My Effects Pedal Board
My pedals consist of : A Boss BS-2s, Ibanez TS-9, Ibanez Overdrive II (Flying Fingers), and are all modified by Robert Keeley Electronics, A Custom Tube Tone, Mr. Mike, Lawman Orange slice A/B and BB.Booster all built for me by Miguel Balderas of Balderas Custom Pedals. Custom Analog Chorus Pedal is supplied by Chad Matthew’s of CMAT Mods Pedals, Peterson Strobe Tuner. My wah-wah pedal is a Mega-Wah supplied by Jeff Purchon and the great folks at Gig-Fx.
