I was born in S.W. Pennsylvania where my parents almost constantly listened to music from the 50s and 60s. They arranged to have me study guitar with a master guitarist when I was about 12. I found myself drawn to the bottom notes and how they sewed the music together. I had a couple friends that were into music and we had a band throughout junior high school. I started playing upright bass in high school at the request of the orchestra director and was fortunate enough to play in many different ensembles under the direction of dedicated music teachers throughout that time. I was lucky enough to tour Europe when I graduated high school with some uber talented young orchestral players. I spent the next 20 years in the Army Medical Department and continued to play music in different capacities on three continents. I moved to New Hampshire a decade ago and am thankful to have had the privilege of performing with and learning from some great bands and amazing people here. The ride continues
